  • 1 big egg
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ cup of whole milk
  • 2 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter

  1. Prepare a big bowl and a small bowl. The all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, ground nutmeg and salt are mixed in the big bowl. The egg, butter and milk are mixed in the small bowl. The egg, butter and milk mixture is added to dry ingredients and they are mixed properly.
  2. The cooking oil is heated to 375 F in a pot or deep large frying pan. The dough is dropped by using a tiny round ice cream scoop, 5-6 at a time into the cooking oil in the deep large frying pan. They are fried until they become browned for more or less 1-2 minutes and they are turned only once.
